Job summary

Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders (DCND) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time outpatient role in Dayton, OH. The CMA/LPN will handle patient intake, maintain records, and review patient care with physicians. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with no holidays or weekends.

Medical office experience is preferred but not required. You will join DCND physicians, researchers, and clinical staff in a collaborative setting,

Qualifications

• CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), or RMA (AMT) certification or LPN licensure.
• Ability to travel between offices in Beavercreek/Centerville area.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
• TB test within past 12 months or willing to have one on hire.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Availability to work between 6:30am-5pm with varying daily hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and screen patients for Swoop brain MRI examinations under physician supervision.
• Position patients and operate the Swoop portable MRI system according to Hyperfine guidelines.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures to support a safe, comfortable patient experience.
• Manage imaging workflow activities, including documentation and scheduling support as needed.
• Coordinate routine preventive maintenance checks on machine, as recommended by manufacturer.
