Job summary

Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders (DCND) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide excellent patient care by handling intake, managing patient records, and reviewing patient care with physicians. This full-time outpatient role runs Monday–Friday with no holidays or weekends.

Medical office experience is preferred but not required; CMA certification is required. Candidate must be able to travel between our Dayton/Cincinnati area offices and pass a background check and TB

Qualifications

• CMA/CCMA/RMA certification required.

• Background check and drug screen required.
• TB immunization or willing to be vaccinated.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to exam rooms and complete patient intake.

• Assist providers with daily schedules and follow-ups between patients.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock medical supplies.
• Administer memory testing.

Dayton Center for Neurological Disorders(DCND), one of the largest physician owned and operated private practices in Ohio, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant- CMA. TheCertified Medical Assistantwill provide excellent patient care by completing patient intake, managing patient records, and reviewing patient care with physicians. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a full‑time (M-F, no holidays or weekends!) outpatient practice, collaborating with DCND, Inc. physicians, researchers, and other clinical staff. Medical office experience is preferred - but not required.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay - The pay range for the Certified Medical Assistant position is $17.00 - $23.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.

What We Require for This Role

• CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), or RMA (AMT) certification
• Ability to travel between our offices in the Dayton/Cincinatti area.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
• Immunization against tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated upon hire.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously through the duration of the shift.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients to exam rooms and complete patient intake.

• Assist the providers with their daily schedules and work follow‑ups in between patients.
• Maintain exam rooms, including restocking and putting away deliveries of medical supplies and inventory.
• Administer memory testing.
