Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join the Inland Shoulder Clinic. You will room patients, take vital signs, perform injections, venipuncture, urinalysis, and EKGs, and prepare procedure rooms.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification with AAMA/NCCT/NHA, is BLS certified, communicates effectively in English, and is eager to grow professionally. Previous clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Active CMA certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA).
• Proficiency in English communication for accurate documentation.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
• Good interpersonal skills to relate to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vitals.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture.
• Conduct urinalysis and EKG testing.
• Set up and clean procedure rooms; proper waste disposal.
• Stock supplies and maintain aseptic technique.
