Gastro One in Germantown, TN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team focused on patient care. You will perform check-ins, administer medications, phlebotomy, manage records, and schedule tests.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent.
• Previous MD office experience or clinical work.
• Maintain current licensure and BLS certification.
• Membership in State and National SGNA recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as directed by physician.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms.
• Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies at direction of physicians.
• Assist in maintaining general medical records.
• Schedule patient appointments and other procedures in the computer as needed.
• Schedule outpatient x-rays and tests as needed.
