Adept Nursing & Rehab of Grand Island is hiring Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to administer medications to residents under nurse supervision, upholding high standards of care, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in Nebraska (NE).
• Current CNA certification in NE.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders.
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly.
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents.
