Adept Nursing & Rehab of South Sioux City is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and uphold high care standards. Qualified candidates will hold NE CMA and CNA certs, have prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience, and demonstrate strong attention to detail plus excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in NE
• Current CNA certification in NE
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents
