Job summary

Premise Health in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a contract, full-time role in a busy outpatient clinic. You will handle clinical tasks and administrative duties, room patients, take vital signs, perform blood draws, prepare specimens, and document in Epic.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification, strong phlebotomy experience, Epic proficiency, and current BLS certification. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent patient

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification/credential.
• Strong phlebotomy/blood-draw experience required.
• Epic experience required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information
• Perform blood draws/phlebotomy
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Document patient information accurately in Epic
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Perform injections and other clinical duties within scope of practice
• Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms
• Assist with patient scheduling and follow-up
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
