Job summary

Internal Medicine Associates LLC in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered practice. The CMA will assist with patient care, rooming, vital signs, chart preparation, and coordinating with providers in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, handling calls, maintaining medical records, and supporting EHR tasks in Greenway Intergy. Requirements: CMA/MA certification, CPR, accredited MA program, and 1+ year office experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA/MA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year medical office experience (preferred).
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Typing speed ~60 WPM (preferred).
• EHR experience (Greenway Intergy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Collect patient history and chief complaints.
• Prepare charts, labs, and reports for providers.
• Answer and triage calls and messages.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate with pharmacies and outside providers.
• Support scheduling and workflow needs.
• Monitor patient flow and feedback.
• Assist with Greenway Intergy EHR system.
