Internal Medicine Associates LLC in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. The position supports patient care, rooming, vitals, chart prep, and coordination with providers in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, CMA/MA and CPR certifications within 1 year, 1+ year in a medical office preferred, and proficiency with Greenway Intergy EHR. Pay DOE, hourly $19.33-$28.45.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program within 1 year of employment.
• Current CMA/MA certification within 1 year of employment.
• Current CPR certification within 1 year of employment.
• 1+ year medical office experience (preferred).
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Typing speed ~60 WPM (preferred).
• EHR experience (Greenway Intergy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take and record vital signs (height, weight, etc.).
• Collect patient history and chief complaints.
• Prepare charts, labs, and reports for providers.
• Answer and triage calls and messages.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate with pharmacies and outside providers.
• Support scheduling and workflow needs.
• Monitor patient flow and feedback.
• Assist with Greenway Intergy EHR system.
