Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support required.
• Non-supervisory – A minimum of 2 years of Certified Medical Assistant Experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers in the delivery of quality health care.
• Maintains a clean work environment and reports safety hazards.
• Ensures availability of drug stock supply and performs equipment inventory.
• Acts as a mentor or train for the CMA team.

Skills

Knowledge of safety factors and medical terminology

Communication skills, both oral and written

Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and treatment

Skill in accurate documentation

Skill in operating a personal computer

Skill in basic first aid

Skill in injections, vital signs, and phlebotomy

Education
