Job summary

Monarch Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation in University City, MO, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to work 6A–6P under the supervision of the charge nurse, ensuring timely and accurate med passes for quality resident care.

The role requires a CMA certification and prior patient care experience is preferred. Strong English communication is essential to document and communicate care with the team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shift Report.
• Perform routine patient care in accordance with Federal, State, Company and Center nursing policies and procedures. Employs preventative and restorative measures.
• Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care.
• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder, etc.
• Participates in all assigned meetings.
• Participates in all training, education or in-service as required.
• Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive.
