Job summary

Godshall Recruiting seeks a Medical Assistant to welcome patients and deliver compassionate, professional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Mountain View Homes, South Carolina. You will prepare charts, review records, take vital signs, assist providers, and support front-office duties while collaborating with clinicians to ensure timely, patient-focused care.

A CMA certification and current BLS are required, with opportunities for professional development and a competitive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, or equivalent) required.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to independent patient care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems effectively, and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Prepare patient charts, review medical records, and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date prior to appointments.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, height, and weight.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers in delivering quality patient care.
• Support daily office operations by managing supplies, tracking referrals, answering phones, and clerical duties.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely, efficient, and patient-focused care.
