Job summary

Equinox is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Bethesda, MD, to ensure smooth operations across departments and uphold exceptional customer service. You will train Front Desk, Housekeeping and M.O.D managers, manage inventory, payroll, deposits, shifts and maintenance, and educate staff on policies.

A strong leader with 3–6 years of management experience in a customer service setting is essential. The role offers a competitive salary range with a focus on delivering the Equinox experience

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in educational, fitness, or professional settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive revenue.
• Hire, direct and train staff; strong time management and follow-up skills.
• 4-year college degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Front Desk, Housekeeping and M.O.D managers while supporting the General Manager on delegated projects.
• Manage inventory control, payroll budget, daily bank deposits, shift coverage and general club maintenance.
• Educate staff on proper company policies and procedures.
