Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee day-to-day gym operations and deliver a high-quality member experience. The role includes staffing, training, supervision, scheduling, and ensuring open and compliant club operations.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, maintain excellent customer service, and manage inventory and onboarding processes. This on-site position offers opportunities for advancement within a growing network.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight to ensure a great customer service experience.
• Front desk duties: greetings, tours, member service issues, etc.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive club image.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
• Ensure timely opening/closing of the gym.
• Train staff on current marketing promotions.
• Complete onboarding tasks in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure club is open and staffed during all hours.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and problem solve.
