Paradiso Grande, located in Orlando, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Club Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing residential club community in Orlando, Florida. This role requires a leader who can balance hospitality, operational discipline, financial accountability, and strong communication with residents, Board members, committees, and the onsite team. The Club Manager will oversee the community's amenity and clubhouse operations, including food and beverage, racquet sports, fitness, pool operations, facilities, lifestyle programming, and administrative functions. Working closely with Troon leadership and the Board of Directors, this individual will be responsible for creating a consistent club experience, developing the onsite leadership team, improving operating processes, and ensuring the community delivers a high level of service to its residents. The ideal candidate is visible, approachable, organized, and comfortable operating in a complex HOA environment. They should be equally capable of engaging with residents, coaching department leaders, reviewing financial performance, managing vendors, addressing facility needs, and working with the Board on longer-term priorities.The candidate will provideoversight of amenity and clubhouse operations, facilities, and related services. Assists in supervising the day-to-day technical and mechanical operations of the clubhouse and community amenities. This is an opportunity for a strong club or hospitality professional to take ownership of an operation that is continuing to evolve and help shape the next phase of the community's resident and club experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures efficient project management for the property.
  • Oversees projects and advises on best practices.
  • Prepares and reviews projects and purchase orders for mechanical, engineering, computer, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other operating systems.
  • Pre-approves, receives, and maintains inventory control for project, maintenance, engineering, and equipment orders valued above $500.
  • Assists with budget preparation in technical and operational areas.
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
  • Activates appropriate emergency procedures in the event of a fire, accident, weather, or medical emergency.
  • Reviews current-day projects and assigns priorities as needed.
  • Assists in managing department members, including Engineering, Building Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, and other mechanical and related contractors.
  • Assists in monitoring projects and correlating them to business volume and operational plans, including manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses.
  • Relays pertinent information to key staff, including the Executive Chef, Beverage Manager, Catering Manager, Executive Offices, Concierge, Membership Office, and other department leaders as needed.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings with colleagues, subordinates, and related parties.
  • Ensures effective orientation and training are provided to each new associate. Assists in developing ongoing training programs.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge/Skill:
  • Knowledge of hospitality POS systems, applications, hardware, and software.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical systems, including electricity, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Experience in residential club, country club, hospitality, or amenity operations.
  • Experience overseeing food and beverage, fitness, pool, racquet sports, facilities, and lifestyle programming.
  • Strong understanding of HOA and residential community operations.
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, Board members, committees, vendors, and onsite department leaders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to review budgets, monitor expenses, and support financial accountability.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or four to six years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe certification required.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, and hears. Regularly uses hands to finger, feel, or handle; reaches with arms and hands. Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
