Job summary

Sheraton San Gabriel is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to work in the VIP Club Lounge, delivering fast, friendly, and personalized service to guests. The shift starts at 5:30 AM and requires a polished, guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, stocking service items, preparing and replenishing breakfast, and delivering orders to the lounge. A high school diploma and English communication are required; prior guest relations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and assist as directed by the Outlet Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
• Prepare and replenish breakfast and beverages in the Club Lounge to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Complete opening and closing side work: stock chinaware, silverware, and tableware; tend to coffee machine; deliver items from kitchen.
• Retrieve and store chinaware, silverware, and tableware.
• Restock and clean Club Lounge area.
• Organize and display breakfast items and adjust seating as needed.
• Monitor inventory and quality of chinaware, tableware, and silverware.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.

NOTE: SHIFT STARTS AT 5:30AM

Responsibilities

• Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager.
• Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
• Responsible for preparing and replenishing food and beverage service in the Club Lounge to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Complete opening and closing side work to include, but not limited to, stocking chinaware, silverware and tableware, tending to the coffee machine, retrieving food and beverages from the kitchen and delivering them to the Club Lounge
• Retrieve and store chinaware, silverware and tableware
• Restock and clean Club Lounge area
• Organize and display breakfast/dinner items and move chairs and tables as needed
• Monitor inventory and ensure quality condition of all chinaware, tableware and silverware.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualification Standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a guest relations position preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must have excellent attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
