Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Club in Bradenton, FL is seeking a part-time Club House Bartender to join a Troon-managed hospitality team. The role involves preparing and serving cocktails, maintaining bar inventory, and delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, being 21 years or older, and knowledge of cocktails and wine varieties. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plan, PTO, and eligibility for service charge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; informs management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and company SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash handling, cleaning, and restocking.
• Manages checks and cash transactions; uses Point of Sale system.
• Reviews banquet schedule and events calendar for changes.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay:

$13.00 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
• Performs opening and closing duties that include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sale System
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars
• Occasionally serves meals to guests
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required
