Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 3-5 years of health club management experience.
• Strong managerial skills and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of yearly operating budget.
• Assist in development of capital improvements budget.
• Direct supervision of all supervisory staff.
• Indirect supervision of all line staff.
• Direct the operations of all departments; provide direction, develop budgets, train staff.
• Authorize new hires, pay rates, wages and salaries.
• Assist in development of advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Position the club in the desired community marketing niche.
• Assist in development and enforcement of club member policies.
• Promote and sell club memberships and programs.
• Handle member/employee complaints.
• Foster a team atmosphere by assisting other staff members.
• Participate in club events.
• Participate in a variety of club classes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field
