Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Dayton seeks a Senior Club Director to oversee daily operations, youth safety, and program quality at a club site. You will lead staff, manage enrollment, and coordinate family communication while ensuring program excellence across five pillars and compliant operations.

In this role you will supervise coaches and coordinators, approve schedules, monitor records, and collaborate with partners to drive membership growth and strong family trust within BGCD policies.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in youth development, education, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Minimum five years progressive experience in youth programs or site operations with staff supervision.
• Ability to lead teams, improve attendance and program quality, and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of youth safety, trauma-informed practice, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing, staffing coverage, active supervision, group transitions, transportation coordination, meals, facility readiness, and emergency response.
• Ensure consistent delivery of five program pillars: Health & Well Being, Academic Readiness, Character & Leadership, Life & Workforce Readiness, STEAM.
• Build a safe, welcoming Club environment and engage families with routine communication and timely issue resolution.
• Supervise, coach, schedule, and evaluate site staff; approve schedules, time records, and leave within policy.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools and community partners; coordinate activities with BGCD leaders.
• Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and reporting; escalate safety matters and operational risks.
