Job summary

Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT seeks a polished Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service to Members and guests, supporting the bar and lounge operations with professionalism and hospitality.

You will maintain knowledge of our wine, beer, cocktails, and specialty beverages, take orders accurately, ensure cleanliness, and collaborate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to create memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a private club, luxury hospitality, restaurant, or fine dining environment preferred
• Experience with cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation required
• Equivalent combination of hospitality experience and training considered

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, bottled and draft beer, and specialty beverages according to Club standards
• Maintain knowledge of all food, wine, beer, liquor, and cocktail offerings
• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to Members and guests
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and process member charges properly
• Learn and recognize Members' names and beverage preferences whenever possible
• Monitor guest experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Prepare and set up the bar daily based on operational needs
• Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and related supplies
