Job summary

Westwood Country Club in Rocky River, Ohio, is seeking a part-time Server to greet members, take orders, and serve members and guests. The role includes setting and clearing tables and assisting with banquet setup or tear-down as directed.

Reports to the Dining and Bar Manager, Outlets Manager, and Banquet Manager. The club is non-tipping and offers incentive for a la carte servers. Wage starts at $15 per hour and may go up to $18 per hour, with incentives noted.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all order on arrival menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, garnishes and wine list.
• Ability to execute all service types and maintain standards.
• Follows state/local laws and club policies for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean banquet rooms and serve banquets.
• Takes beverage orders and serves food in specified station.
• Pours and refills wine, coffee, water and other beverages.
• Clears soiled dishes and cleans working areas.
• Assists in closing functions and resets the room for next function.
• Attends staff meetings and adheres to safety requirements.
