Job summary

Westfield Country Club in Ohio is seeking a Dining Room Server to join our food and beverage team. You will serve food and beverages to guests in the clubhouse, set and buss tables, operate the POS system, and assist with event service while upholding safety and hospitality standards.

The role offers starting pay of $11 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to develop guest service skills and work closely with team members across hosts, cooks, bartenders, and managers.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Food and Beverage.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work area for daily operations by stocking and sanitizing.
• Operates and cleans beverage dispensers, coffee brewers, and equipment.
• Works with peers and leadership to complete team tasks and minimize issues.
• Learns menu details and can provide recommendations based on knowledge.
• Serves food while maintaining presentation and safety standards.
• Handles alcoholic beverages per law and company policy, verifying age when needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and dining surfaces.
• Monitors inventory and notifies when supplies are low.
• Maintains dining room and server areas per safety and hospitality standards.
• Greets customers and escalates issues to leadership as necessary.
• Operates POS to process payments and reconciles cash at end of shift.
• Collaborates with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
