Job summary

The National Hockey League (NHL) seeks a Senior Manager, Club Business Insights & Analytics to advance analytics capabilities across all 32 Clubs. This role partners with club leaders to drive revenue growth, operational improvement, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise with business acumen, storytelling, and problem-solving. You will manage high-impact projects, build league-wide insights, and mentor junior analytics resources in a hybrid

Qualifications

5-7 years of analytics, BI, strategy, consulting, revenue optimization, or related field.
Experience with professional sports teams, league offices, or related sports business environment preferred.
Demonstrated experience creating executive-level reporting and analytics-driven recommendations.
Advanced proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
Experience communicating findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Partner with NHL Clubs to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop league-wide benchmarking programs, scorecards, and analytics frameworks.
Deliver actionable insights on ticketing, premium seating, attendance, and revenue generation.
Lead reporting and analytics solutions used by Clubs and NHL leadership.
Translate findings into clear recommendations and executive presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple departments.
