Job summary

SILTT LLC in El Segundo, CA is seeking a dynamic Network Technician to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain submarine cable, power, and terrestrial connectivity systems at the Cable Landing Station. You will act as first line for alarms and support NOC teams during incidents.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnostics on DWDM/SDH/PFE, documentation, and coordination with engineering and vendors.

Qualifications

• BICSI certification or equivalent preferred; telecomm/network field degree a plus.
• 6+ years in submarine cable, data center, or telecom network ops.
• Hands-on DWDM, SDH/SONET, and IP equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor submarine cable terminal equipment and terrestrial backhaul.
• Respond to alarms, perform diagnostics, and maintain SLA.
• Lead preventative/corrective maintenance and CAB-approved changes.
• Log incidents, coordinate with NOC and vendors, and document results.
• Maintain diagrams, configurations, and post-incident reviews.
