SILTT LLC in El Segundo, CA is seeking a dynamic Network Technician to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain submarine cable, power, and terrestrial connectivity systems at the Cable Landing Station. You will act as first line for alarms and support NOC teams during incidents.
Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnostics on DWDM/SDH/PFE, documentation, and coordination with engineering and vendors.
SILTT is searching for a dynamic and highly motivated Network Technician responsible for providing technical and operational support for all submarine cable, power, and terrestrial connectivity systems housed within a Cable Landing Station (CLS). This role is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining transmission equipment, power systems, and environmental controls to ensure uninterrupted service between the cable landing site and the wider terrestrial and undersea network infrastructure. The Network Technician serves as the first‑line response for alarms, performs preventative maintenance, and assists engineering and NOC teams during major cable events and restoration activities.
