Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities for moderate (42 CFR 493.1425) and high complexity testing (42 CFR 493.1495).
• Ensure adherence to laboratory procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions when test systems deviate from performance specs.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments, assist in LIS/POC responsibilities, and support department leadership as needed.
