ZipStaff Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a government client in Tallahassee, FL. You will oversee cloud services, manage Windows Server environments, and coordinate across internal and external teams to ensure security and performance.

The role emphasizes AWS cloud experience, IIS administration, and Microsoft 365 management, with Azure as a desirable capability. On-site in Tallahassee, this contract position requires a strong technical background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT experience in infrastructure/network environments (operations, support, maintenance, and administration).
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• 2–3 years of IIS Administration.
• 2–3 years of strong professional experience with AWS cloud systems (Required).

Responsibilities

• Support, expand, and administer the customer’s infrastructure and server environment.
• Perform daily operations support, maintenance, and administration of Windows Servers (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Manage and troubleshoot IIS, network communications (TCP/IP, DNS), Samba/CIFS, and NTFS permissions.
• Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 environments and other Microsoft platforms.
• Design, implement, and support cloud solutions in AWS (required) and Azure (highly desired).
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and pipelines.
• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
• Document and automate administrative tasks to improve efficiency.
• Own medium-to-high complexity issues and provide reliable operational support.
