Job summary

The Alta Video Engineering Escalations team at Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Escalations Engineer who will bridge our customer-facing support and R&D teams. You will investigate, solve and manage complex cloud video security issues, collaborating with global engineers, support, product test, and sales to ensure timely resolutions.

With 4+ years in engineering or technical support, you will gain deep knowledge of our cloud video security products, ONVIF familiarity a plus, and the

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering or technical support experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed? (None)

Responsibilities

• Become expert on Alta Video products and related industry solutions.
• Take ownership of escalated support issues from start to resolution.
• Gather environment details and symptoms to aid diagnosis.
• Reproduce issues in lab and troubleshoot complex functional/integration problems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales to reproduce and fix issues.
• Test code changes and verify fixes.
• Provide status updates and communicate progress to customers.
• Contribute to documentation and KB articles.
• Occasionally perform site visits to customer locations.
