Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Escalations Engineer for the Alta Video team in the United States. You will bridge our customer-facing support and development teams, tackling advanced cloud video security issues while coordinating with R&D, product test, and sales teams.

You will gain in-depth knowledge of our solutions, including leading third-party products, and contribute to process improvements. The role requires strong technical ability, collaboration, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate outstanding technical ability or proven academic excellence in a science/CS/ networking field.
• Show genuine interest in learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
• Conduct full stack troubleshooting across network, hardware and software components.
• Maintain high attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to test new products and identify bugs.
• Ability to write knowledge base articles and whitepapers.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on all products and related industry offerings.
• Own escalated support issues to resolution within SLA and customer satisfaction.
• Gather accurate environment and symptom details to shorten resolve times.
• Reproduce issues in the lab and troubleshoot complex functional and integration problems.
• Engage with development and test teams to reproduce problems.
• Test code changes and workarounds to verify fixes.
