Job summary

Wiz is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join the Threat Research team and spread the power of Wiz. In this role, you will track, analyze and report on the most advanced threats targeting cloud environments.

You will synthesize data from a wide range of sources, analyze attackers targeting cloud ecosystems, and communicate findings to diverse audiences. Base pay includes bonus and equity; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security or threat research experience and able to produce detailed analyses.
• Ability to combine multiple data sources into a cohesive campaign picture.
• Basic to intermediate technical skills in infrastructure, malware, or cloud log analysis.
• Excellent analytical judgement and experience with attribution.
• Clear, rapid written communication of technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from internal and external sources to map threats to cloud, AI, and developers.
• Analyze state-sponsored and financially driven attackers targeting cloud ecosystems.
• Communicate novel findings to diverse audiences and in multiple formats.
• Leverage open and closed data to track infrastructure and malware used by actors.
• Investigate incidents and attribute campaigns to understand motivation.
