Job summary

Wiz is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join the Threat Research team and analyze threats targeting cloud environments. You will track advanced actors, synthesize data from various sources, and report findings to multiple audiences.

The role emphasizes attribution, large-scale telemetry, and familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits, with a US base pay range of $160,000 — $220,000.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security or threat research with detailed analysis and reporting.
• Ability to weave multiple data sources into a comprehensive threat picture.
• Technical analysis skills: infrastructure, malware, or cloud log analysis.
• Strong judgement and experience with attribution and evidence-based assessments.
• Clear technical writing for multiple audiences.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from diverse sources to map threats to cloud, AI, and developers.
• Track state-backed and financially motivated attackers targeting cloud environments.
• Communicate novel findings and in-depth analyses to multiple audiences and formats.
• Leverage open and closed data to map infrastructure and malware used by advanced actors.
• Investigate and attribute incidents and campaigns to understand attacker motivation.
