Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor all cloud infrastructure, including weekend deployments of production and OS updates as needed.
  • Prioritize and resolve tickets from automated alerts and various groups related to server, network, and storage issues.
  • Provide level 2 support, including escalated issues.
  • Maintain highly available systems in accordance with SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain automation for server and application build, testing, and deployment.
  • Configure and deploy monitoring tools and scripts for systems and applications.
  • Remediate security risks within required compliance timeframes.
  • Administer user access, including onboarding, termination, privileges, and authentication.
  • Communicate effectively with the Operations team and stakeholders about projects and tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain compute and storage systems.
  • Identify, categorize, and respond to network, security, and system events.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
  • AZ-900 certification.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux and OS patch management.
  • 3+ years of Linux and Windows administration experience.
  • 2+ years of security best practices experience.
  • 2+ years of debugging and problem determination.
  • 2+ years of software installation and updates experience.
  • 1+ years of hands-on Azure experience, including services like Entra, AKS, Frontdoor, WAF, VNET, Firewall, NSG, Container Registry, Load Balancer.
  • Experience administering an identity solution such as open IAM.
  • Experience with Terraform and GIT or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AZ-104, AZ-500 certifications.
  • Open IAM experience.
  • ITSM/SaaS experience.
  • Healthcare and/or Financial PHI/PII Data Protection experience.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., MARS-E, NIST 800-53).

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually, based on full-time employment, experience, certifications, and other factors. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, stock options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
