Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Engineering Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, driving cloud strategy, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions. As a hands-on leader, you will remain deeply involved in day-to-day technical decision-making, actively guiding architectural direction, coding practices, and infrastructure deployments to ensure the highest quality outcomes. The position offers a compensation range of $152,000 - $161,000 with a 20% annual incentive opportunity. This is a hybrid role based at our Downtown Manhattan headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor cloud engineering team while maintaining technical involvement
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions aligned with business goals
• Oversee cloud operations, automation, and cost optimization
• Partner with InfoSec to maintain cloud security and compliance
• Collaborate across teams to drive cloud initiatives and communicate with leadership
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years cloud engineering experience (3+ years leadership)
• Expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Infrastructure as code proficiency (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud security and compliance expertise
• CI/CD and DevOps experience
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
  
  

Preferred

• Cloud architect certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Multi-cloud/hybrid cloud implementation experience
• Agile and project management background
• Programming skills in Python, Go, Java
