Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Systems Development Engineer I to own and advance mission-critical services in the ADC.

You will work on foundational services like Apollo, Pipelines, Test on Demand, AppConfig, and Multi-Region to maintain parity, reliability, and security across isolated partitions. You will join a fast-paced, startup-like environment focused on building, operating systems at massive scale, and delivering cloud solutions to support thousands of AWS builders

Qualifications

Associate's degree or above or equivalent certifications.
Experience programming with modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
Strong Linux and networking fundamentals in large-scale environments.
Automation tooling experience for building, testing, releasing or monitoring.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver technology solutions to improve resilience, performance, and efficiency of AWS systems.
Work autonomously on components and applications within mission-critical services.
Troubleshoot complex issues and resolve defects; participate in on-call rotation.
