Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, and Digital Policy Management. You will join a large cross-functional team of developers and data engineers to build, test, and monitor complex systems.

Responsibilities include decomposition, integration, and lifecycle engineering from concept to disposal. Requirements include active TS/SCI with polygraph, cloud/AWS and SQL experience, and familiarity with RMF/NIST processes and tooling like Xacta/GreenLight.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience with Cloud/AWS.
Experience with SQL.
Agile Methodology experience; Jira/Confluence; ServiceNow (ESP).
Experience providing Linux administration.
Familiar with security accreditation: RMF, NIST; POAM tracking; Xacta/GreenLight.

Responsibilities

Build outs, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of systems.
Requirements decomposition and translation to hardware/software specs.
Ensure designs align with architecture and requirements.
Automate and improve existing systems; review capabilities and scheduling limits.
Perform analyses to translate customer requirements into specs.
Identify system integrity issues across full life cycle.
Integrate systems/services and communicate results.
Support ATO/ accreditation efforts for customer systems and apps.
