Job summary

Serco provides an opportunity to serve the United States Navy and CNIC N6 program at NSA Naples in Naples, Italy, as a Systems Administrator/Azure Cloud Engineer. You will support physical/virtual servers, storage, and hybrid cloud environments while applying STIG/IAVA security requirements and disaster recovery testing.

The role emphasizes maintaining backup operations, monitoring systems, and updating network infrastructure diagrams, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II and DoD 8140 baseline
• 2+ years in IT with virtualization experience
• Experience with VMWare ESXi or Hyper-V environments
• Knowledge of security hardening and vulnerability management (ACAS/HBSS)
• Travel up to 10% as required

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain and upgrade physical and virtual servers and storage systems
• Manage hybrid cloud environments and virtualization platforms
• Support application hosting environments and testing/production environments
• Apply security standards and guidance (STIG, IAVA)
• Perform regular VM backups and DR tests
• Maintain network diagrams for physical and logical infrastructure
• Patch and upgrade operating systems and firmware
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment issues
