Job summary

First Onsite in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to monitor health, performance, and security of our cloud and on-prem environments across AWS and Azure. You will escalate issues, implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and partner with Development teams to build scalable, reliable solutions.

You’ll strengthen security, manage M365/Azure AD, and support ITSM workflows while driving incident management and change control.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex systems and enterprise infrastructure.
• 4+ years managing Windows Server, virtualization, Azure, M365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• 4+ years migrating emails, files, and systems between M365 tenants and cloud solutions.
• 2+ years administering ITIL-based ticketing systems and Microsoft Endpoint Manager for OS, patching, and software deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification, preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent AWS certification, preferred.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) certification, preferred.
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification, preferred.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS/EKS), preferred.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security frameworks (AWS Well-Architected, CIS Benchmarks), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalation support to the Service Desk and vendor partners for technical issues.
• Monitor and improve security and compliance across Office 365, Azure, ServiceNow, and other systems.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Own and resolve incidents, changes, problems, and system migrations, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using IaC tools Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Lead M365 tenant migrations and integrate systems into the M365 ecosystem.
