Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Cloud System Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, resiliency and scalability.

You will provide Tier I–III support, manage containerized workloads (k8s/EKS), and automate deployments with CloudFormation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef and Docker, while holding an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, OpenStack, Azure.
• Experience building cloud apps for performance, resiliency, availability and scale.
• Experience with container management systems (K8s, EKS) in production and Github.
• Automation experience with CloudFormation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.
• Resolve customer capacity requests at Tier I/II and Tier 3 with escalation to Architecture Team.
