Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Key Skills and Attributes

1. Knowledge of recent cloud management developments and ability to advise clients on cloud strategies to maximize benefits such as workload flexibility, scalable workstations, and cost efficiency.
2. Collaboration with IT Security teams to ensure cloud system security.
3. Engineering of applications and systems on customer premises interconnected with cloud resources.
4. Designing and defining system architecture for complex systems.
5. Determining system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility, including security considerations.
6. Coordination of subsystem design and system integration, along with identifying and resolving deficiencies.
7. Development and recommendation of corrective actions.
8. Providing technical guidance to database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications

1. Extensive experience with cloud computing technologies and migration.
2. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
3. Knowledge of integrating services and tools across networks and data processing.
4. Experience implementing security information and event management systems.
5. Proficiency with AWS and Azure service level agreements.
6. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
7. Bachelor’s Degree and approximately 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
