Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Key Skills and Attributes

1. Knowledge of recent updates and developments in cloud management strategies to advise clients on leveraging cloud benefits.
2. Collaboration with IT Security teams to ensure cloud system security.
3. Engineering applications and systems on customer premises interconnected with cloud resources.
4. Designing and defining system architecture for complex computer systems.
5. Determining system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility.
6. Coordinating subsystem design and system integration, analyzing and resolving deficiencies.
7. Developing and recommending corrective actions.
8. Providing technical guidance to database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications

1. Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration of applications to the cloud.
2. Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
3. Knowledge of integrating services across networks and data processing areas.
4. Implementing security measures such as SIEM to protect assets.
5. Experience with AWS and Azure SLAs.
6. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
7. Bachelor’s Degree and approximately 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
