Job summary

BVG & Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator in Albuquerque, NM to support the NEST Communications Program. You will manage cloud infrastructure, enforce cybersecurity/compliance, and ensure system availability and performance.

Responsibilities include provisioning Azure resources, patching, IAM management, incident response, and documenting SOPs. At least a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in IT/cloud ops is required; TS/SCI clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in IT support or cloud ops; more experience acceptable.
• Experience with Azure cloud and FEDRAMP/GovCloud basics.
• Proficient in Linux Bash or Windows PowerShell.
• Familiarity with IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure cloud resources aligned to NEST architecture.
• Maintain availability, performance, and reliability.
• Apply patches and config changes; monitor environments.
• Manage user access using IAM frameworks; enforce least privilege.
• Support incident response and backups; ensure data integrity.
• Document SOPs and align with DOE/NNSA policies.
