Job description

Required skills:

• Full-time work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible. Should be available during core business hours. Some mission-critical applications may require availability after hours and during weekends if needed.
• Active TS/SCI with poly clearance adjudication.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience; additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
• Strong Linux skills with recent experience, including CentOS, RHEL, and/or Oracle.
• Experience working in an AWS environment, familiar with console access to provision, maintain, and monitor servers.
• Experience with snapshots, backups, disaster recovery, performance tuning, installation, STIG hardening, and patching.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, including scripting and audit log review, and Tier 1 communication skills.

Desired skills:

• Experience developing and maintaining critical documentation (SIPs, SAGs, SUMs, SOPs, guides).
• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Current polygraph.
• Experience with Cloud services (EC2, S3, Elasticache), Kafka, OpenShift, Docker, Keycloak, Wildfly.
• Knowledge of PKI certificates, SSL, and service accounts.
• Experience supporting multiple environment types (physical, virtual, cloud).
• Experience supporting security audits and testing events.
• Strong Linux experience; upgrading from CentOS to RHEL 8 is a plus but not required.
