Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking hardware design engineers to design and build next-generation storage servers and AWS-specific hardware components.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams to move concepts into production at scale. You will collaborate across hardware, software, and security disciplines to deliver high-performance, cost-effective server solutions while driving improvements in reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hardware production experience.
• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems.
• Hands-on experience debugging hardware with analytical tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Design storage server platforms and AWS-specific hardware components.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver new servers with industry-leading performance and quality.
• Define and deliver new products and services.
• Lead the integration and delivery of servers, and support automation monitoring and failure analysis.
• Work with AWS software teams to tailor and operate server solutions for the AWS environment.
• Support launching servers into production and operating the fleet.
