Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to design and operate distributed storage and database services powering Aurora and RDS. You will build tools to provision, monitor, and heal fleets worldwide, collaborating with product owners to deliver scalable features.

You must maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph for each government agency involved, and you will work with stakeholders to maximize business value while delivering secure, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ design/architecting experience for large systems (reliability and scaling).
• 4+ years in networking, storage, OS, and hands-on systems engineering.
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
