Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) to support the internal cloud platform across inception, design, deployment, operation, and ongoing support. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable infrastructure and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include monitoring live services, rapid troubleshooting across the stack, and driving standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Unix/Linux server platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, Shell scripting, Java, Python, and Ansible development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live services by measuring availability, latency, and health.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, software, app, and network layers.
• Deep-dive into reliability concerns and implement sustainable fixes.
• Drive standardization across disciplines with embedded engineering teams.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities for cloud-based services.
• Design automation frameworks for deployment, management, and visibility.
