Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking Cloud Solutions Engineer interns for the Cloud Platforms and Architectures Department in ISCD. Interns will work onsite at Chantilly, VA, El Segundo, CA, or Colorado Springs, CO on multiple cloud-focused projects.

You'll gain hands-on experience with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, DevOps, and modern cloud tools, while learning from subject matter experts and contributing to space-quality cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in accredited college/university pursuing a master’s degree in CS/engineering.
• Available for at least 10 weeks full-time; return to degree program after internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Software development experience in Python, Java, C/C++, Go, or Rust.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware development for cloud-related prototyping.
• Research and experiment with state-of-the-art technologies.
• Manage Linux systems to provide SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS capabilities.
