Google Cloud Platform is hiring a senior data management specialist in the United States to partner with customers and architect large-scale database migrations to Google Cloud. You will collaborate with technical sales and customer engineers to design scalable, secure data solutions and deliver compelling demonstrations.

This role emphasizes reliability and performance, with opportunities to lead migration roadmaps, present to executives, and influence adoption across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in cloud computing environment, or in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in database technologies, administration and management tools, performance tuning techniques, SQL, troubleshooting, and data migration strategies to Google Cloud.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and live demonstrations of database products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technical sales teams as a data management subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers.
• Help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges.
• Engage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks related to database and application migrations and data back ends for new application development.
• Engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.
