Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• 5 years IT engineering experience including full stack .NET and JavaScript development, AWS or Azure configurations, security reporting, CI/CD, and code repos.
• Must maintain DoD 8140 compliance for IAT 2 or Security+ CE.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure to meet mission requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineers to deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Lead IaC development and maintenance using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK; strengthen security through DISA STIGs and vulnerability remediation.
• Support RMF processes to achieve system accreditation and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
• Manage containerized environments, monitor performance, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, SOPs, and project plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose upgrades to keep systems mission-ready.
