Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Cloud Software Engineer 1 to support the development and deployment of enterprise cloud-based solutions in a mission-driven environment.

You will design, develop, integrate, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications for large-scale compute and data analytics platforms. Qualified candidates have a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's in CS or related field (or 2+ years of relevant experience), and experience in Java, Python, C++, Linux, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or 0 years of experience in the field; or 2 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in software development, cloud engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience working within Linux-based operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based software applications.
• Develop scalable software capabilities for enterprise compute and data analytics platforms.
• Participate in Agile software development activities (sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews).
• Translate requirements into functional software solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers across cloud, systems, and test teams.
• Apply secure software development and DevOps practices throughout the lifecycle.
