Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Software Engineer in Orlando, Florida, to build and deploy innovative cloud-based software products for internal R&D and Department of Defense contracts. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science and a minimum of 5 years' experience. Key responsibilities include the support of the software development lifecycle, technology demonstrations, and collaboration in an Agile environment. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to government contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies.
• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstrators.
• Present and conduct technology demonstrations to leadership and potential customers.
• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Skills

Data storage and messaging (PostgreSQL, Neo4J, RabbitMq, Kafka, WebSockets)

Knowledge in Machine Learning and Data Analytics

Knowledge in Cloud technologies

Knowledge in 3D Modeling

Experience with gaming technologies such as Unity 3D, Unreal Engine

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science
